GI Community Solutions was founded to meet a demand for expert gastroenterology care in rural areas. Many small communities face challenges bringing specialty care to their patients, and patients face challenges in traveling long distances to receive this care in a bigger city.
By providing endoscopy (upper endoscopy and colonoscopy) as well as consultations for all gastrointestinal conditions, GI Community Solutions brings expert gastroenterology care to your community, allowing your hospital and clinic to take pride in providing a full spectrum of care within your walls.

OUR TEAM
Alexander Ende, MD
Physician and co-founder
Dr. Ende was an Instructor of Medicine and Advanced Endoscopy Fellow at the University of Washington. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Washington in 2017. Prior to his gastroenterology fellowship, he completed medical school and internal medicine training at the University of Pennsylvania.
Nate Schomaker, MD
Physician and co-founder
Dr. Schomaker attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine before completing his internship and residency in internal medicine at University of Colorado Hospitals. Dr. Schomaker completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Loyola University Medical Center where he served as chief fellow.
